Jamaa Learning Center will open in
the 4th Ward Ville neighborhood as a free, open-enrollment, college- preparatory, full-service community charter public school in the fall of 2010.
Jamaa will start with Kindergarten and 3rd grade in August 2010 and eventually grow to serve 300 students in grades Kindergarten through 8th
